We feature a flexible submission procedure. You can send us any text such as an article, paper, manuscript etc., to be considered for a publication, If your research is in the concept stage, send us your proposal including subject area and an explanation of the content of the book. You can expect a confirmation within two weeks if we can publish your work.

Every academic text is considered for publication

Basically, any academic text in the English language is considered for a publication, examples are; any (working) paper, review article, classroom materials. We base approval of the text for publication on the usefulness of the work for the academic community. We do not publish fiction. Authors from across the globe are invited to submit a proposal.

Author maintains copyright of the text

We do not want to limit the use of your research and written text, therefore, when you publish with us, you maintain the copyright to the text. You are free to do with it what you want, even after the book is published. You only give us the right to sell your book in it's current version for 5 years, it is that simple.

Books published by Vandeplas Publishing are marketed and sold in the United States and worldwide to libraries, government agencies, firms and book stores by partners such as William Hein & Co. in Buffalo, NY. As one of the largest book/periodical distributors in the world, Hein has over 80 years of experience in it's field.

After your text is received, the book is published within 4 weeks

All books are digitally printed and are ready for shipping 4 weeks after we receive your publication in PDF format.

Royalty on every book sold

Every book qualifies for our standard royalty fee for authors. Royalty fees are paid annually in March. As author you also receives ten copies of the book free for your own use or to submit for book reviews.
